KATZ, Texas (AP) KATz, the trendy Italian restaurant chain that has been in the Houston area for decades, has announced that its restaurants will close due to a number of health issues.KATz posted on Twitter Wednesday that it was closing the Houston, Texas, location and the Houston-area location in New York, which it is also closing in Atlanta.
The Houston-based company, which has restaurants in other cities, said it was unable to provide any further details about the closure.
The chain announced a health crisis earlier this year when it announced that it would be shutting down its Houston-themed restaurant in June.
It reopened the Houston location a month later, but closed the Atlanta location in August.
The announcement comes on the heels of the Houston restaurant chain’s closure of a Houston location last year.
The company also recently announced a plan to close the Austin location in 2018.
