‘Worth it’: Cathy’s Restaurants to serve ‘worth it’ meal after fatal shooting

A suburban Kansas City restaurant has vowed to serve a “worth-it” meal for the family of a man who was killed by police in 2016.

Cathy’s Restaurant and Deli in Midland, Kansas, says it will offer a meal of barbecue, chicken, and pulled pork to honor the life of 32-year-old Nicholas Moore.

The restaurant says Moore died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound on June 17, 2016.

Moore was an employee of the Midland-based restaurant chain.

A jury acquitted the officer involved in Moore’s death of first-degree murder.
